Growing Fruit in a Small Yard
Deb Graham of the Midwest Fruit Explorers Society will show us how to grow fruit in zone 5!

If you have garden, plant, nature, or outdoor-related items to sell (or any items you think gardeners would be interested in!), contact us to reserve a booth at our Plant Sale on Saturday, May 9, 2026.

The Rolling Meadows Library's "Next Reads" newsletter has a Rolling Meadows Garden Club tie-in! You'll get book suggestions related to the club's meeting topics, delivered straight to your email inbox. With your library card number and PIN in hand, sign up for the Next Reads newsletter and select Rolling Meadows Garden Club Tie-In Newsletter. You'll receive the newsletter a few days before our monthly meeting, and can link directly to the book suggestions in the library catalog.

Choose a seed packet (each packet has 3-12 seeds), check out gardening books and resources, take them home, and start your gardening journey.
No registration required. Find the new Seed Library in the Reference Department. You're invited to take up to 10 seed packets per season.

Congratulations to our 2025 Scholarship Winner Tessa Knepper!
Tessa Knepper, a 2025 graduate of Rolling Meadows High School, aims to pursue agricultural research focusing on swine genetics to improve farm productivity and advance organ transplant capabilities. She plans to attend Northwest Missouri State University and will study floral and horticultural sciences while preparing for her research career.

The Rolling Meadows Garden Club was founded in 1999 by a group of people with a common interest in gardening and love of flowers. We share ideas, opinions and stories about successes and failures.
Meetings are held the second Wednesday of each month. With light refreshments provided by members, the first half hour is dedicated to socializing before the regular meeting starts. Hands-on workshops, presentations, or discussions follow a short business meeting. We also plan outings, such as picnics or field trips, occasional dinners, and viewings of member's gardens.
